'Madhampton.co.uk!'is finished! We are now recruiting for our 2013 show! We are always looking for new recruits! If you are interested in getting involved in our next big production, which starts rehearsals in January 2013 and rehearses over the period January - April 2013, then contact us. We are particularly keen to involve; * People who use and work in mental health
services who have not been involved in our work before. *People with other serious illnesses who may access our productions through Dreamweavers. Madhampton Village Fete / End of Show Disco Party! The cast of Madhampton and friends will be assembling on the Grain Barge, Mardyke Wharf, Hotwell Road at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday May 2nd to celebrate our latest success with some drinks, nibbles and nifty disco moves .... Dramatherapy Group The dramatherapy group run by Beth Jones will be running in 2012 and details will be announced here in duce course. The group runs at the Broadmead Baptist Church, 1 Whippington Court, The Horsefair, Bristol BS1 3HY If you are interested, please contact us. Theatre Trips From Healing Arts Unlimited We run theatre trips throughout the year and service users can get free or subisidised tickets to see plays dealing with mental health themes, plays involving group members and other plays. Our next trips are; Thursday 19th April to see Dee Sadler performing in 'Misery' at the Alma Tavern Theatre. Wednesday 9th May to see Livi Denis performing in 'The Revenger's Tragedy' at the Bristol Bierkeller. Wednesday 19th December to see patron Mark Rylance performing in 'Twelfth Night' at the Apollo Theatre, London. Mind Your Music Workshops Former Stepping Out Secretary Elliot Hall runs Bristol's leading mental health music group, Mind Your Music. In April 2008 the group was awarded a grant for a three year programme of work from the Big Lottery Fund. and a new series of music workshops is currently being planned. These are an opportunity for people who may or may not have previous musical experience to come together for an afternoon of making music. Workshops are run by Elliot Hall and Ernie Bell. Mind Your Music recently worked with Stepping Out on a special music project at Fromeside Clinic to produce a CD of music with singer songwriter Jonathan Little. They are currently working on a compilation CD of all the music they have produced for Stepping Out productions over the last decade.
